Mr. Suleiman Ali Abdalla founded Greenland General Supply Company Limited. The company has a well-known national international name in wholesale distribution and has been well-known in Tanzania and Zanzibar Territory for more than 20 years. A strategy to become a leading national and international merchandising trade brand is being developed by the Import Export OEM for Eastern African countries in the merchandising trade of general door fitting and related hardware, nuts, screws, machine tools, allied household industrial carpentry and mechanical construction tools, building construction materials, electrical general merchandise for domestic industrial purposes, plumbing sanitary tiles and other general house ware, gift ware including HORECA (Hotel Office Restaurant Café Catering )Trading activities is our key role in current scenario. As well work with government contract as key supplier in diversify activities.
Our management has now made the decision to open up and diversify the range of products offered. We have also made the decision to enter the market aggressively. “With Zanzibar-based one of the top trading houses, we are working on diversification and by the end of this fiscal year, we will venture into many more merchandises to promote Tanzanian economy in industrial usage merchandises that are soon to grow in Eastern African economy."
The business has so far served Tanzania's dispersed markets. The newer markets will be the main emphasis of Greenland General Supply Company Ltd. throughout addition to being widely distributed throughout Tanzania's east and north, it can also be found in a few isolated areas in the country's west and south. With the help of our customers, the objective for the upcoming years or so will be to expand the retail chain base in these various East African regions. Central Tanzania will also be a key area. In the past few months, we have been interacting with possible distributors and business partners for the various Tanzanian districts as well as neighboring African territory. Several daring and promising parties have made our short list.
